The IPS-BA inverter is used around the world in automotive
plants. This B size inverter is cooled by air forced by two
powerful fans. The air carries away heat from a heat sink
mounted to the back of the inverter. This inverter coupled
with heat exchange unit is mounted within a control enclosure
but with the heat exchange unit protruding to the exterior.
A protective cage surrounds the heat exchange unit.
