The DEP100s provides a message display area and push button keys
to request data or make programming changes. The push buttons
are color coded and grouped according to the function they perform:
Mode Keys(gray)
Cursor Movement keys (yellow)
Insert, Delete and Decimal point keys (gray)
Numeric Keypad (white)
"Soft" Keys (Blue)
The mode keys are used to access the features (or menus of features)
of the DEP. The functionality of the DEP are grouped into the
following menus:
Display Mode
Status Mode
Program Mode
The Display mode allows you to:
Display weld data for the last weld performed (or the last weld
of a particular weld sequence.)
Display a short version of the weld sequence so that quick changes
can be made to the existing sequence.
Display the Weld/No Weld Status, this allows the user to switch
the selected control into No Weld through the MedLAN Network.
(Note that this will not override the I/O network so that if the
control is in No Weld due to the I/O the control will continue
to be in No Weld.)
The Status Mode allows you to:
View the status of the welding control's steppers.
View the I/O status of the weld control.
View the Fault status of the weld control
View the Network fault and communication status.
View the analog window data and current status.
View the Software Revision status for all devices on the network.
View the extended Hardware & Software Revision status for a selected
device.
The Program Mode allows you to:
Program the weld controls welding schedules.
Program the weld controls welding steppers.
Program the weld controls setup parameters.
Program the weld controls analog calibration data.
Reload the weld controls default settings for it's welding schedules,
steppers and setup parameters.
Program the weld controls ID for the DEP/MedView network.
Cause the weld control to request from or send to the WSS(or another
weld control on the network) all its welding schedules, steppers
and setup parameters.
